With Van de Beek preparing to make his Manchester United debut, how has it worked out for his fellow Dutchmen
Manchester United new signing, Van de Beek will be making his Premier League debut this weekend.
The former Ajax midfielder was signed in a deal worth £40 million, following in the footstep of his fellow Dutchmen, with the move making him the 13th dutch player to represent Man United.
Let’s rate some of his fellow Dutchmen that have graced the United jersey.
Robin Van Persie: Signed from United North London rivals Arsenal in 2013, the Dutchman went on to win the Premier league title with United in his first season.
Memphis Depay: Signed by former Man United manager Luis Van Gal, the later went on to become a flop at the club before he was shipped to Lyon where he has rediscovered his form.
Ruud van Nistelrooy: The energetic Dutch striker went on to become a United legend with his goal scoring prowess.
Edwin van der Sar: By far the best goalkeeper that has ever graced the United jersey. Signed at an old age of 31, went on to win 5 League titles and one Champions League with Man United before hanging up his boots.
The list goes on and on.
