Popular Nigerian media personality, Toke Makinwa has urged the federal government to to credit accounts of Nigerians with atleast N10,000 to aid in this coronavirus lock down after lock down was extended in Lagos, Ogun and Abuja for another two weeks.
The outspoken celebrity echoed this after President Muhammadu Buhari announced that coronavirus lockdown in Lagos, Ogun and Abuja will remain in place till 3rd of May, 2020.

Toke in her tweet wrote: “Lock down, lock down the least you can do is credit everyone’s account, even if it’s 10k. BVN is available yet you want those who have resorted to being their own government die of hunger? 14 days more is about to bite even harder”
